Special – By Course

A Master’s program focuses on structured academic activities through lectures and assignments, typically culminating in the writing of a thesis. Special – By Research

A Master’s or Doctoral program focused on research-based activities, emphasizing independent research and the preparation of a thesis. Lectures are held on non-workdays or in collaboration with certain institutions and can be held on weekdays. Information on tuition fees can be found on the following page: click here

Registration Requirements

Applicants are required to fill out the form and must upload several documents required for the selection process, namely:

  1. Original diploma certificate, bachelor’s transcript
  2. Recommendations from 3 recommenders (enter the recommender’s email in the system after paying the registration fee).
    1. One of the MANDATORY recommendations must be from a Lecturer/Teaching Staff from the University.
    2. The qualifications for recommenders are a minimum of a Master’s degree for applicants for the Master of Science (S2) program.
  3. Letter of Guarantee of Cost (Form D).
  4. Synopsis of the research plan (maximum 3 pages). Applicants for the research pathway must upload a research proposal signed by a prospective promoter from IPB. Detailed requirements for By Research ( download here ).
  5. TPA is MANDATORY for every Special Pathway S2 applicant with TPA score >= 475. Information on the Bappenas UUOPT TPA implementation schedule.
  6. English language proficiency score ((TOEFL/IELTS)) ( details click here ) for Masters and Doctoral (if you don’t have one, you can take the Placement Test, see Agenda ).
  7. Specifically for the Double Degree program of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program (TIP) with a Master of Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Adelaide University) and the Agribusiness Study Program (AGB) with a Master of Science (Georg-August, Gottingen University), a minimum TOEFL institutional score of 550 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 must be submitted. Candidates wishing to apply for an LPDP scholarship must also register on the LPDP website.
  8. A special pathway will be opened if the number of participants who pass the selection is at least 15 people for the Masters program and 10 people for the Doctoral program.

Registration fee

Registration fee is IDR 1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah).
